HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Nancy Pudelwitts on the occasion of her retirement from the Dundee Township Park District Senior Center; and

WHEREAS, Nancy Pudelwitts graduated from Proviso West High School in Hillside; and

WHEREAS, Nancy Pudelwitts was Activity Director at Senior Services Associates in Elgin from August 1979 to June 1999; she then became Senior Center Coordinator at the Dundee Township Park District from June 1999 until her retirement; as Senior Center Coordinator, she assisted with the planning for the new Senior Center, increased the level of participation by seniors, and greatly increased the number of programs after moving to the Senior Center; and

WHEREAS, Nancy Pudelwitts won the YMCA Leader Luncheon Award in 2005 for her work in social service; and

WHEREAS, Nancy Pudelwitts is married to Bob, a retired Elgin police officer, and has two children, Joe and Bobby; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Nancy Pudelwitts on her retirement and wish her continued success and happiness in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Nancy Pudelwitts as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
