HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Anthony G. "Tony" Lee of Cuba, who passed away on April 12, 2007; and

WHEREAS, Anthony Lee was born on July 15, 1969 in Peoria; his parents are Bernie and Brenda (Hurley) Lee; and

WHEREAS, Anthony Lee and Vickey McCloskey were married on September 4, 2002; and

WHEREAS, Anthony Lee was a veteran of the United States Navy and served in the Gulf War; he worked for the Illinois Department of Corrections, was a member of Teamsters Local 627 of Peoria, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus; and he was involved in wrestling and worked as a referee; and

WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his brother, David William Lee; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Anthony Lee will be deeply felt by those who knew and loved him, especially his wife, Vickey; his parents, Bernie and Brenda Lee; his children, Katie, Patrick, Elizebeth, and Lindsay; his brothers, Jeff (Melissa) and Joe; and his sisters-in-law, Carol (Rick) Mendenhall and Sandy (Rod) Howard; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Anthony G. "Tony" Lee; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Anthony Lee as a symbol of our sympathy.
