HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate Tom Grisaffi, a Superintendent with the City of Chicago's Department of Streets and Sanitation, as he retires from public service; and

WHEREAS, Tom Grisaffi has been a dedicated employee of the City of Chicago since 1972 where he has represented the highest standards of public service; and

WHEREAS, He has been a valued employee of the Department of Streets and Sanitation, most recently serving as a Superintendent of the North Division; and

WHEREAS, Tom Grisaffi has made the decision to retire from public service, leaving a void that it will take great shoes to fill; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Tom Grisaffi and wish him a happy retirement; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Tom Grisaffi as a symbol of our respect.
