HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Lou Czarny, McHenry County court administrator, on his retirement; and

WHEREAS, Lou Czarny began working in court administration in 1978; and

WHEREAS, Lou Czarny has an English degree from Milton College; he served in the United States Marine Corps after college and was stationed at the Pentagon where he worked for the Chief of Naval Operations and took paralegal classes at the University of Maryland; and

WHEREAS, He and his wife, Janie, moved to Woodstock after his time in the service to be close to her parents and raise their daughter, Lisa; and

WHEREAS, In his spare time, Lou has been a major part of the Woodstock Musical Theater Company and the Town Square Players production team; since 1985 he has appeared in many productions for both companies and has served as a board member; and

WHEREAS, While he is retiring from his job, he will continue to work in the theater; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Lou Czarny on his retirement and wish him the best in his future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Lou Czarny as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
