HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate the players and coaches of the Mater Dei High School Lady Knights girls volleyball team on the occasion of the team's hard-fought season; and

WHEREAS, The Mater Dei Lady Knights earned a third place victory in the IHSA Class 3A Girls Volleyball Tournament; the team ended their season with a 36-6 record; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Mater Dei High School girls volleyball team are Samatha Bedard, Alison Mueller, Cortney Crocker, Abbey Winter, Kaley Boeckmann, Alyssa Hitpas, Nicole Strieker, Maria Gebke, Brooke Schulte, Andria Lampe, Laura Thole, Ashley Rakers, Tabatha Albers, Kayla Eversgerd, and Morgan Dall; the team's head coach is Fred Rakers and the assistant coach is Chad Rakers; and

WHEREAS, The Mater Dei High School girls volleyball team members serve as models of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the players and coaches of the Mater Dei High School Lady Knights girls volleyball team for their dedication and hard work and wish them the best of luck in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Fred Rakers, head coach of the Mater Dei High School Lady Knights girls volleyball team, as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
