1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of the
4 Lansing Little League 10-Year-Old All Stars on the occasion of
5 their well-fought 2008 season; and

6     WHEREAS, After emerging victorious from the District 6
7 tournament, the Lansing Little League 10-Year-Old All Stars
8 proceeded to the Sectional 3 tournament, where they
9 unfortunately fell short of victory; and

10     WHEREAS, The Lansing Little League 10-Year-Old All Stars
11 haven't played in the postseason since 2001, an indication of
12 the 2008 team's great skill and dedication; and

13     WHEREAS, The members of the Lansing Little League
14 10-Year-Old All Stars serve as models of hard work, integrity,
15 and dedication for the people of the State of Illinois;
16 therefore, be it

17     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
18 NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
19 congratulate the members of the Lansing Little League
20 10-Year-Old All Stars on the occasion of their well-fought 2008
21 season and wish them the best of luck in future seasons; and be

2     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
3 presented to the Lansing Little League 10-Year-Old All Stars
4 team as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
