HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives learned with sadness of the death of Robert N.
4 Molitor, Jr.(Bob), who passed away on July 12, 2008; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Robert Molitor was born on March 4, 1955 in
6 Chicago to Robert and Gertrude Molitor; and
 
7     WHEREAS, Robert Molitor was educated at Notre Dame High
8 School, Western Illinois University, and Loyola University in
9 Chicago; and
 
10     WHEREAS, Robert Molitor met and married his wife and
11 life-long dance partner, Brenda Molitor, with whom he shared 26
12 years of married life; and
 
13     WHEREAS, Robert Molitor was the father of his beloved
14 daughter, Ashley; the brother of Kathleen (James) LaSorella,
15 Mary Ann (Gerald) Lenzen, Thomas (Marjorie) Molitor, and his
16 twin brother, John (Randee) Molitor; the brother-in-law of
17 Sharon Valko; and the uncle of many nieces and nephews; and
 
18     WHEREAS, Robert Molitor will be remembered for his
19 enthusiastic commitment to his community of Vernon Hills, as
20 demonstrated by his years of service to others through the

1 Vernon Hills Lions Club, the Knights of Columbus, St. Mary of
2 Vernon Parish, and Indian Princesses; and
 
3     WHEREAS, Robert Molitor volunteered as a clown, where he
4 brought happiness to kids and adults of all ages through his
5 magic tricks, balloon configurations, and persistent smile;
6 and
 
7     WHEREAS, Robert Molitor was a huge Chicago sports fan,
8 attending many games and cheering for the Black Hawks, Bulls,
9 Bears, and Cubs; therefore, be it
 
10     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
11 NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
12 mourn the passing of Robert Molitor, Jr. and extend our most
13 sincere condolences to his family, friends, and community; and
14 be it further
 
15     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
16 presented to the family of Robert Molitor, Jr. as an expression
17 of our deepest sympathy.
