HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives and State Representative Monique D. Davis are pleased to congratulate Ms. Ethel Hamilton of Chicago on her 75th birthday, April 5, 2008; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Hamilton has resided in Chicago for 55 years; and

WHEREAS, She has been an active employee of the Chicago Board of Education since 1987 as a Hearing/Vision Technician; and

WHEREAS, She has served as a Deacon with the Trinity United Church of Christ for 30 years, visiting the sick and the shut-ins of the church; and

WHEREAS, She is an active constituent in the Washington Heights neighborhood; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Hamilton will be honored at a birthday celebration on April 5, 2008 by her family and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Ms. Ethel Hamilton on this momentous event and wish her continued good health and happiness for years to come; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Ms. Ethel Hamilton as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
