from Ch. 73, par. 1065.58-100

Amends the Illinois Insurance Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the purpose of the Article involving third party administrators.

AN ACT concerning regulation.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by changing Section 511.100 as follows:

(215 ILCS 5/511.100) (from Ch. 73, par. 1065.58-100)

Sec. 511.100. Purpose. The purpose of this this Article is to recognize and provide reasonable public supervision and licensing of persons who provide administrative services in connection with insurance or alternatives to insurance.
