735 ILCS 5/14-101   from Ch. 110, par. 14-101

    Amends the Code of Civil Procedure. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning commencement of a mandamus action.

1     AN ACT concerning civil law.
 
2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
 
4     Section 5. The Code of Civil Procedure is amended by
5 changing Section 14-101 as follows:
 
6     (735 ILCS 5/14-101)  (from Ch. 110, par. 14-101)
7     Sec. 14-101. Action commenced by plaintiff. In all
8 proceedings commenced under Article XIV of this Act the the
9 name of the person seeking the relief afforded by this Article
10 shall be set out as plaintiff without the use of the phrase
11 "People ex rel." or "People on the relation of".
