SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Emery Rehn of Moline, who passed away on October 24, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Emery Rehn was born in Moline to Elmer and Anna (Peterson) Rehn on October 3, 1925; he served in the U.S. Army; and

WHEREAS, Emery Rehn worked at the former JI Case in East Moline; he was a member of several farming organizations; and

WHEREAS, Emery Rehn was an avid bowler and baseball fan; and

WHEREAS, Emery Rehn was preceded in death by his sister, Lorna Rainey, and his brothers, Harold and Herman Rehn; and

WHEREAS, Emery Rehn is survived by his wife, Emma; his sisters, Gladys Olson and Joyce (Bob) Nelson; and his brother, Kenneth Rehn; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Emery Rehn and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Emery Rehn as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
