| SENATE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to express |
| 3 |
| their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Norbert |
| 4 |
| Bochat of River Grove, who passed away on April 19, 2006; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, For 20 years, River Grove resident Norbert Bochat |
| 6 |
| helped generations of Rhodes students safely make their way to |
| 7 |
| school; no matter what the weather or situation, he would be |
| 8 |
| there to help the children; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Bochat was a big fan of the Chicago Wolves |
| 10 |
| hockey team; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, Norbert Bochat was an active individual; he always |
| 12 |
| had a kind word for everyone and made lots of friends; and he |
| 13 |
| was known to many as the candy man because he would sneak candy |
| 14 |
| to the children; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, He is preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude, and |
| 16 |
| his second wife, Catherine; and
|
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Norbert Bochat will be felt by all |
| 18 |
| who knew and loved him, especially his sons, Allen (Diane), |
| 19 |
| Ronald (Diane), and Craig (Donna); his grandchildren, Brad |
| 20 |
| (Lisa) and Heather; and his many nieces and nephews; therefore, |
| 21 |
| be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 23 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
| 24 |
| all who knew and loved him, the death of Norbert Bochat; and be |
| 25 |
| it further
|
| 26 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 27 |
| presented to the family of Norbert Bochat with our sincere |
| 28 |
| condolences.
