SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with regret of the death of Loretta Bridges of North Chicago on Tuesday, April 4, 2006; and

WHEREAS, She was a caring, loving wife, mother, and grandmother; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Loretta Bridges has been deeply felt by many, especially her husband of 38 years, Larry; her sons, Joe (Michelle) Bridges, Steve (Gina) Bridges, and David Bridges; her sister, Barbara (Don) Clark; her brother, Tom (Sue) Verenski; her grandson, Bryan; her granddaughter, Ashley Rose; and her niece, Kathy; she was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Stella Verenski; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Loretta Bridges, and we extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to her family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
