SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with regret of the death of Henry M. Tellor of Anna on Saturday, February 11, 2006; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Tellor was born on August 8, 1922, in Alto Pass to Melvin and Alma (Fox) Tanner; he married Carrie Joy VanAmburg; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Tellor served in the United States Army during World War II; he worked as a truck driver; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Tellor was a former member of Anna VFW; he was a member of Salem Lutheran Church; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Tellor enjoyed gardening and fishing; and

WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Henry M. Tellor has been deeply felt by many, especially his wife, Carrie Joy; his daughters and sons-in-law, Caran Mayberry, Ruby and Bob Adams, Rosie and Steve Mowery, and Janet and Benjie Dunville; his son and daughter-in-law, James "Jim" and Gina Dillon; his sixteen grandchildren; his twenty-four great-grandchildren; his four great-great-grandchildren; his brothers, Walter Tellor and Donald Tellor; and his sisters, Agnes Frieze and Esther Barker; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Henry M. Tellor, and we extend our sincerest condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to his family as an expression of our deepest sympathy for their loss.
