SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
3 learned with sadness of the tragic and untimely death of Ashley
4 Ann Ruzich of Herrin on Wednesday, January 25, 2006, just one
5 day after her eleventh birthday; and
 
6     WHEREAS, Ashley was born on January 24, 1995, to Cheryl
7 Leposky Ruzich and Raymond Ruzich; she was a fifth-grade
8 student at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Herrin; and
 
9     WHEREAS, She was a member of Broadway Studios of Benton and
10 competed in competitions locally and in St. Louis and received
11 many awards for her accomplishments; she loved to dance, play
12 softball and soccer, tumble, and entertain her friends; she was
13 always goofing around and trying to make everyone happy; she
14 will be sadly missed and never forgotten; and
 
15     WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her sister, Jeseca
16 Taylor Ruzich; her father, Raymond Ruzich; her maternal
17 grandfather, Tom Leposky; and her paternal grandfather, Louis
18 Ruzich; and
 
19     WHEREAS, The passing of Ashley Ann Ruzich has been deeply
20 felt by many, especially her mother, Cheryl Leposky Ruzich; her
21 sister, Stevie Raeann Ruzich; her aunts and uncles, Tom and
22 Janet Leposky, Jeff Leposky, Mark Ruzich, and Steph and
23 "Johnnie" Natyshok; her maternal grandmother, Charlene
24 Leposky; her paternal grandmother, Diane Ruzich; her maternal
25 great-grandmother, Pearl Lefler; her great uncle, George
26 Lefler; her cousins, Kyle and Ryan Leposky, and Garrett
27 Leposky; and her special cousin, Gauge Leposky; therefore, be
28 it
 
29     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL
30 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1 Ashley Ann Ruzich, who was taken from this world at much too
2 young an age, and we extend our deepest sympathy to her family,
3 friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further
 
4     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
5 presented to her family as an expression of deep sorrow for her
6 passing and with our sincerest condolences.
