SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with sadness of the death of Charles C. Morris of Herrin on July 19, 2005; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Morris was born September 7, 1935, to Charles and Bessie (Moore) Morris; he had worked as a concrete brick mason at Charles Wilson Masonry; and

WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his brother, John Morris, and his sisters, Annie and Ruthie Morris; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Charles Morris is felt by all who knew and loved him, especially his son and daughter-in-law, Charlie and Cheryl Morris; his stepdaughters, Lou Ann Harmon and Lana Bailey; his stepsons, Bobby Ridings and Marvin Ridings; his grandchildren, Jacob and Kaleb Triplett and their mother, Rhonda Triplett, and Kaleigh, Zachary, Jaycee, and Jeremy Morris; his step-grandchildren, Crystal and TJ Tubbs; his special friend, Bill Bailey; his special niece, Carol Terresa Morris; and his brothers, Tom Morris and Russell Morris; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we express our most sincere regret at the passing of Charles Morris and extend our condolences to his family and friends; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to his family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
