SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with sadness of the death of Rodney M. Rolla of Buckner on July 17, 2005; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Rolla was born August 6, 1932, in Buckner, to Joseph "Chewie" and Dollie (Tatalovich) Rolla; he was a retired electrician and a member of the VFW of Sesser; and

WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Rodney Rolla is felt by all who knew and loved him, especially his cousins, Ron and Vicki Slaviero and Elaine and Ron Huie and their children, John and Jean Huie and Ronnell and Mike Karoski; his nieces, Cheryl Rolla and Lynn and James Atterbery; his nephew, Chris and Leanna Rolla; his brother, Joel "Jo Jo" and Beverly Rolla; his great-nieces and great-nephew, Daniella Rolla, Kristen Rolla, and Nicolas Rolla; and several cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we express our most sincere regret at the passing of Rodney Rolla and extend our condolences to his family, friends, and community; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to his family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
