SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with sadness of the death of James Coffel of Christopher on July 9, 2005; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Coffel was born April 3, 1936, in Sesser to Burl and Evelyn (Green) Coffel; and

WHEREAS, He was a Marine veteran, having served in Korea; he had worked at I.C.C. Railroad; he was a good pool player and golfer; and

WHEREAS, The passing of James Coffel is felt by all who knew and loved him, especially his children, Cindy Coffel, Scott and Donita Coffel, and Theresa Mullins; his grandchildren, Lacy Roth, Jesse Mullins, Alyson Coffel, and Amanda Dellow; his great-grandchildren, Morgan and Nolan Dellow; his brothers, Bob Coffel and Charles Coffel; and his special nephew, Ron Coffel; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of James Coffel and extend our sincerest condolences to his family and friends; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to his family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
