SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with sadness of the death of Ida Marie Boester of Marion on July 9, 2005; and

WHEREAS, She was born on February 12, 1917, in Williamson County, to Rudolph Henry and Louise (Pape) Boester; and

WHEREAS, She retired from Cox Hardware and Gifts in Marion; she was an active member of Zion United Church of Christ; and

WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Herman Boester, and her sisters, Elsie Hrovatich, Nora Boester, Frieda Boester, and Esther Carter; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Ida Marie Boester is felt by all who knew and loved her, especially her daughter, Delores L. Deaton; her granddaughters, Beth Ann Murphy and husband Tom and Pamela Lynn Craig; her great-grandchildren, Samantha Clayton, Pamela Sue Craig, James T. Murphy, and Rachel Rock; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Rudolph and Jean Boester and John and Theresa Boester; her sister-in-law, Irma Boester; and her nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Ida Marie Boester and extend our sincerest condolences to her family; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to her family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
