SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with sadness of the death of David Lee Baker of Herrin on July 11, 2005; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Baker was born March 8, 1977, in Herrin; he worked in construction; and

WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert Baker; his maternal grandmother, Doris Price; his maternal grandfather, Delmar Price; his aunt, Judy Colson; his cousin, Jeff Price; and his sister, Holly Baker; and

WHEREAS, The passing of David Lee Baker is felt by all who knew and loved him, especially his wife, Kelly Odum Baker; his sons, David Bradley and Hayden Alexander Baker; his daughter, Lynn Star Baker; his mother and stepfather, Rhonda and Ronnie Fitzpatrick; his father, David D. Baker; his paternal grandmother, Wanda Baker; his sisters, Candida Payne, Becky Needham, and Sarah Baker; his nephew, Dakota Montgomery; his brothers-in-law, Tony Payne, Joey Odum, and Mike Casey; his sister-in-law, Donie Walker; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Doyle and Pam Odum; his aunts and uncles, Brenda and Tom Price, Marty and Nancy Price, Donnie Colson, Carliee Baker, and Starla Smith; his cousins, Marty and Sherry Price, Brydon and Trinity Price, Mary Rutherford, Kristin Rutherford, and Randy Price; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of David Lee Baker and extend our sincerest condolences to his family; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to his family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
