SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with sadness of the death of Julia Emma Rosing (nee May) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, formerly of Libertyville, on January 12, 2005; and

WHEREAS, She was born April 12, 1905, in Ringwood and had lived in Libertyville most of her life until moving to Colorado in 1986; and

WHEREAS, Mrs. Rosing was preceded in death by her husband, Albert, in 1986; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Julia Emma Rosing is felt by all who knew and loved her, especially her children, Alan (Belia) Rosing, William (Marlene) Rosing, and Janet (Rex) Ellington; and her 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Julia Emma Rosing and extend our heartfelt condolences to her family; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to her family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
