SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
3 learned with sadness of the untimely death of Ryan Daniel
4 Falmier of Carterville on Thursday, May 5, 2005; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Mr. Falmier was born on February 10, 1975, in
6 Carbondale, to Dennis and Debbie (Jones) Falmier; he married
7 Kerri Henley on June 22, 1996, in Goreville; and
 
8     WHEREAS, He owned and operated Falmier Construction
9 Company in Carterville; he enjoyed playing cards, baseball, and
10 softball; he was drafted by the Texas Rangers in 1993 and
11 managed and played on Falmier Construction Softball Team in
12 Marion; and
 
13     WHEREAS, He was a member of the Falmier Hunting Club, and
14 he especially enjoyed spending time with his nephews; he will
15 be remembered by his loved ones as a free spirit; he lived life
16 every minute of every day; his laughter, sense of humor,
17 competitive nature, and presence in the pit will be deeply
18 missed; and
 
19     WHEREAS, Ryan was an outstanding baseball player,
20 carpenter, fisherman, and friend; to his family he was a great
21 son, a great brother, a great uncle, and a soul mate; to his
22 friends Ryan was the life of the party, and the best duck and
23 goose hunter; and
 
24     WHEREAS, The passing of Ryan Daniel Falmier has been deeply
25 felt by many, especially his wife, Kerri Henley; his mother and
26 stepfather, Debbie and Brad Housewright; his father, Dennis
27 Falmier; his brother and sister-in-law, Max and Anissa Falmier;
28 his sisters, Mallory and Breanna Housewright; his
29 grandparents, Fred and Mary Falmier; his mother-in-law, Mary
30 Henley; his nephews, Brooks and Rawley Falmier and Ryan and

1 Aaron Suits; and his niece, Wesslyn Kulavic; he was preceded in
2 death by his maternal grandparents, Earl and Nona Jones, and
3 his father-in-law, Wes Henley; therefore, be it
 
4     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL
5 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of
6 Ryan Daniel Falmier, who was taken from this world too soon,
7 and we extend our sincerest condolences to his family, friends,
8 and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
 
9     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10 presented to his family as an expression of our deepest
11 sympathy.
