SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
3 learned with deep sadness of the untimely death of Dennis L.
4 Gibbens of Carterville on Thursday, May 5, 2005; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Dennis was born on September 1, 1983, to Melody
6 Gibbens; he shared the same birthday as his bride, Teila Marie,
7 making that a very special day for them; the two married and
8 have a wonderful son, Daniel Issiah, who is 16 months old; and
 
9     WHEREAS, He loved working on cars and electronics and
10 enjoyed playing video games and listening to music; he was an
11 All-State wrestler and football player for Carterville; he
12 attended the Community of Faith Church and had many, many
13 friends that cared for him; and
 
14     WHEREAS, The passing of Dennis L. Gibbens has been deeply
15 felt by many, especially his wife, Teila Gibbens; his son,
16 Daniel Issiah Gibbens; his mother, Melody Gibbens; his father,
17 Dennis Lyman Miller; his sister, Mary Jane Gibbens; his uncles
18 and his aunt, Dennis and Lois Gibbens, Jim Gibbens, and Pat
19 Gibbens; his mother-in-law, Karen Romines; his sister-in-law,
20 Tiffany Romines; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Greg and
21 Woodie Romines; and his great-uncle and great-aunt, Romo and
22 June Pagano; he was preceded in death by his maternal
23 grandparents, Mary and Milton Gibbens; his aunt, Aida Pagano;
24 and his great-grandmother and great-grandfather, Mary and
25 Joseph Pagano; therefore, be it
 
26     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL
27 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
28 Dennis L. Gibbens, who was taken from this world much too soon,
29 and we extend our sincerest condolences to his family, friends,
30 and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

1     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
2 presented to his family as an expression of our deepest
3 sympathy.
