SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with sadness of the death of Ann Mazur of Christopher on May 1, 2005; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Mazur was born November 8, 1914, in Flat River, Missouri, the daughter of Wasil Mazur and Anna Lawder; and

WHEREAS, She was a manicurist for St. Louis Athletic Club; and

WHEREAS, She was a member of Holy Nativity of the Virgin Mary Russian Orthodox Church; and

WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Steve Mazur; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Ann Mazur is felt by all who knew and loved her, especially her brother, Frank Mazur; her nephew, Charles Mazur and his wife, Jeanenne; her great-nephews, Courtney Mazur and Trevor Mazur; and her great-great-nephew, Peyton Mazur; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Ann Mazur and extend our sincerest condolences to her family; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to her family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
