SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with sadness of the death of Karen S. Muir of Wooster, Ohio, formerly of Eldorado, on April 30, 2005; and

WHEREAS, Mrs. Muir was born November 26, 1941, in Harrisburg, the daughter of Owen and Elaine (Sharp) Ewan; she married Forest Muir on June 17, 1961; and

WHEREAS, She was a member of Eldorado Baptist Church and enjoyed reading, knitting, and walking; and

WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her father; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Karen Muir is felt by all who knew and loved her, especially her husband, Forest; her mother; her sister, Nancy Howard; and her nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Karen S. Muir and extend our sincerest condolences to her family, friends, and community; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to her family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
