SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with sadness of the death of Janice Denise Hunter of Chicago on September 12, 2004; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Hunter was born on May 5, 1957, to Erma Jean and Henry Hunter in Chicago; she was the second child of five; and

WHEREAS, She attended Mason Elementary and John Marshall High School; and

WHEREAS, She was a dedicated mother to her children and grandchildren; and

WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her mother, a sister, and her brothers; and

WHEREAS, She leaves to cherish her memories, a loving fiance, Dwayne Jordan; her sons, Christopher and Sedwick (Antronette); her stepchildren, Dwayne Jr. and Quadalisha; her loving father, Henry Hunter (Bertha); her sister, Shelly Moore (Hosea); her grandchildren, Charmaine, Arielle, Cierra, Tyshiana, and Natonia; her nephews, Michael, Dwayne, Marvin Jr., and Martell; her aunts, Delphine Brown, Bessie Williams (Clarence), and Dorothy Ware; her uncles, Counsel Hunter and Luscious Hunter; and a host of other relatives and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Janice Denise Hunter and extend our sincere condolences to her family and friends; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to her family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
