SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois were grieved to learn of the recent death of James A. Craig; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Craig had retired after 21 years of service to the Blue Island Police Department; and

WHEREAS, He valiantly served his country and was a veteran of the Korean War; and

WHEREAS, The passing of James A. Craig has been deeply felt by many, especially his wife, Marilyn (nee Hauser); his children, James, Brett (Therese), and Barry; his four grandchildren; his seven great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Blanche Russo and Georgene; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of James A. Craig, and we offer our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of James A. Craig as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
