HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of this Body are honored to recognize significant milestones in the lives of the people of this State; and

WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that Ms. Rosie Mae (Tee) Dixon is celebrating the 80th anniversary of her birth; and

WHEREAS, Tee was born on January 7, 1926, in Rolling Fork, Mississippi, to Johnnie and Mary Dixon; she was the second oldest of four daughters, including her sisters, Johnnie Mae Wright (deceased), Fay Cystrunk, and Gloria Jean Dixon; and

WHEREAS, Rosie Mae (Tee) Dixon is the proud mother of four sons, David Collins Washington (deceased), State Representative Eddie Washington, Edward Washington and Kevin Washington; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Rosie Mae (Tee) Dixon on the occasion of her 80th birthday, and we extend to her our sincere best wishes for the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Ms. Dixon as an expression of our respect and esteem.
