HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives have learned with great sadness of the illness of Donna Jean Boston of Mt. Olive; and

WHEREAS, Donna has lived a life surrounded by a lucky family who could never repay the love and generosity she has shown them; and

WHEREAS, She was born on April 7, 1934, and raised by her grandparents Annie and "Pop" Bowen in Pawnee; and

WHEREAS, Donna married Elmer Lee Boston, who passed away on May 9, 2000; and

WHEREAS, She is a devout Christian and has been a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Mt. Olive for over forty years; and

WHEREAS, Donna is the proud parent of Roberta Tevini, Rebecca Cox, Laurie Bernardini, Brenda (husband, Guy) File, Teresa (husband, Steve) Kessler, and her only son Steven (wife, Tammy) Boston; and

WHEREAS, Donna is the doting grandmother of Jason Smiley, Bradley Cunningham, Randy Hannig, Jr., Jeffrey Tevini, Anthony Bernardini, Chelsea File, Amy Boston, Scott File, Lindsay Webb, Trenton Kessler, and Lucas Boston; and

WHEREAS, Donna is the loving great-grandmother of Brayden Smiley; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we celebrate the productive life of Donna J. Boston and wish her the best not only in this world, but in the next as well; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Mrs. Boston as an expression of our respect and esteem.
