HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the State of Illinois learned with regret of the recent death of Idella Green; and

WHEREAS, She was born on January 5, 1923, in Belzoni, Mississippi; and

WHEREAS, Mrs. Green was a mother of six children, a community activist in the 34th ward, and also a community leader in the Morgan Park area; and

WHEREAS, She retired from General Electric in 1975 and spent her last ten years as a political supporter in the 29th district; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Idella Green, and we extend our sincere condolences to her family, her friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to her family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
