| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the |
| 3 |
| State of Illinois wish to honor Pat Mahoney for her 35 years of |
| 4 |
| public service; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was appointed City Clerk of the City of |
| 6 |
| Eldorado in 1971 and has held that position continuously since |
| 7 |
| said time; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, She has served under ten different mayors and in |
| 9 |
| three different city halls during such time; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, While serving as City Clerk, she has also raised a |
| 11 |
| family and been active in community organizations; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, As the only employee of the City Clerk's Office |
| 13 |
| during such time, she has been the initial contact person for |
| 14 |
| many citizens and others having business with the City of |
| 15 |
| Eldorado and has always dealt with such people in a |
| 16 |
| professional and courteous manner; and
|
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, Her knowledge of the city government, her |
| 18 |
| efficiency in performing her duties, and her dedication to her |
| 19 |
| office and her community have earned her the respect and |
| 20 |
| admiration of past and present city officials and employees and |
| 21 |
| the citizens of the community; therefore, be it
|
| 22 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 23 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 24 |
| we honor Pat Mahoney for her 35 years of exceptional service to |
| 25 |
| the City of Eldorado, and we extend to her our best wishes for |
| 26 |
| continued service, health, and happiness; and be it further
|
| 27 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 28 |
| presented to Pat Mahoney as an expression of our respect and |
