HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The Park Place Recreation Center, part of the Streamwood Park District, celebrates its tenth anniversary this year; and

WHEREAS, The center opened in May of 1996; it features a state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor track, waterpark, lap pool, sauna, whirlpool, collegiate-size gym, baby-sitting services, aerobics studio, Children's Learning Center, Senior Center, and classroom/meeting rooms; and

WHEREAS, The state-of-the-art facility serves the patrons of the district just as the community envisioned in 1996 and continues to provide the most current and requested programs around; and

WHEREAS, In honor of the anniversary, the district rolled back member prices this year to the 1996 rate; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we recognize the tenth anniversary of the Park Place Recreation Center; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Streamwood Park District.
