1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the
3 State of Illinois are pleased to recognize milestone events for
4 organizations in our State; and

5     WHEREAS, Strays Halfway House in Hoffman
6 Estates/Schaumburg is celebrating its 25th anniversary; and

7     WHEREAS, The organization is dedicated to saving abandoned
8 and stray animals by placing them in foster homes until
9 permanent homes can be found; and

10     WHEREAS, Since it was founded in 1981, homes have been
11 found for more than 9,300 animals; therefore, be it

12     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
13 NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
14 we congratulate Strays Halfway House in Hoffman
15 Estates/Schaumburg on the occasion of its 25th anniversary; and
16 be it further

17     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
18 presented to Strays Halfway House as an expression of our
19 esteem and gratitude.
