SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

735 ILCS 5/7-103.9

Amends the Code of Civil Procedure. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the granting of quick-take eminent domain powers to rail carriers.

AN ACT concerning civil law.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Code of Civil Procedure is amended by changing Section 7-103.9 as follows:

(735 ILCS 5/7-103.9)

Sec. 7-103.9. Quick-take; rail carriers. Quick-take proceedings under Section 7-103 may be used by a rail carrier within the the time limitations and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in Section 18c-7501 of the Illinois Vehicle Code.
