815 ILCS 505/2VV new

Amends the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act. Requires the owner of a movie theatre to post, for each movie shown in his or her theatre, the separate start times for the movie trailers and the actual movie.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act is amended by adding Section 2VV as follows:

Sec. 2VV. Movie start times; advertisement. The owner of a movie theatre shall post, for each movie shown in his or her theatre, the separate start times for the movie trailers and the actual movie.
