SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Patricia E. "Pat" (Sheahan) Schanks of Bolingbrook, who passed away on July 13, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Pat Schanks was a lifelong resident of Bolingbrook and served her community in many capacities over the years; and

WHEREAS, Pat Schanks was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Schanks; and

WHEREAS, Pat Schanks was the loving sister of Edward Francis "Bud" (Carol) Sheahan; the cherished mother of Jeff (Pam), Jerry (Donna), Tim (Kathy), Joel, and Dan; the devoted grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of five; and the fond aunt of many; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Patricia E. "Pat" Schanks and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Pat Schanks as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
