SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of John C. Pearson Jr., who passed away on March 27, 2019; and

WHEREAS, John Pearson was born in Waukegan to Cliff and Dorothy Pearson on December 30, 1952; and

WHEREAS, John Pearson enjoyed gardening, photography, traveling, collecting antiques and tee shirt design; and

WHEREAS, John Pearson was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Pearson (Merlo); his mother, Dorothy Pearson; and his nephew, Adam; and

WHEREAS, John Pearson is survived by his father, John C. "Cliff" Pearson; his sister, Laurie Pearson (Ted Kuderko); his stepchildren, Kim (Bob) Wald and Roger Philpot; his grandchild, Taylor Wald; and his special friend and care giver, Teresa Cozzens; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of John C. Pearson Jr. and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of John Pearson as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
