HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Thomas E. Klatt, who passed away on December 7, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Klatt served his country with the United States Marine Corps; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Klatt was known in his community as a smart businessman, and his opinions and advice were sought by many; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Klatt served as a Bristol Township Trustee since 1991; he served on the boards of several community banks and was a current member of the board of trustees at the Pioneer Bank; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Klatt was a faithful and longtime member of the Trinity Church United Methodist in Yorkville; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Klatt is survived by his wife, Karen Klatt; his children; his grandchildren; his brothers; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Thomas E. Klatt and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Thomas Klatt as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
