SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with regret of the death of Lawrence Larry Allen of Chicago on July 10, 2004; and

WHEREAS, He was born March 13, 1981 in Chicago to Clara Allen and Lawrence Larry Lindsey, Sr.; Larry, affectionately known as "Boo Boo", attended Ryder Elementary and Calumet High School; he loved sports, video games, music, friends, and most of all his family; and

WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Morris Jackson, Sr., and his paternal grandparents, William and Mildred Lindsey; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Lawrence Larry Allen will be felt by all who knew and loved him, especially his mother and father; his daughter, Shakiya Renee Allen; his fiancee, Saharina McCadd; his grandmother, Arlene Jackson; his sisters, LaTania, Doris, and Dorthey Guy and Amanda, Areen, and Loren Lindsey; his brothers, Antonio and Ralph Allen, Lawrence (Red) Guy, and David Lindsey; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Lawrence Larry Allen and extend our sincerest condolences to his family, friends, and community; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Lawrence Larry Allen as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
