SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
3 learned with regret of the death of Jeann Lee Frank, nee Budd,
4 of Grayslake on Sunday, July 25, 2004; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Mrs. Frank was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana and
6 grew up in New Albany, Indiana; she attended Indiana University
7 and completed her degree in Education at Carthage College in
8 Wisconsin; and
 
9     WHEREAS, Jeann met her husband of 43 years, Louis F. Frank,
10 Jr., while working at the Aetna Insurance Company in
11 Louisville, Kentucky; they married and had four children; and
 
12     WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Frank were well-known as pillars of
13 the community for their tireless support and contributions to
14 Grayslake; they had an insurance agency in Grayslake until
15 1995, when Mr. Frank preceded Mrs. Frank in death; and
 
16     WHEREAS, Mrs. Frank served many people as a volunteer with
17 a giving heart; she was extremely active in the General
18 Federation of Women's Clubs; she served in many positions,
19 including president of both the Grayslake Women's Club and the
20 Illinois 10th District of Women's Clubs; she was one of 13
21 women recognized by the Lake County Women's Coalition in March
22 of 2004 for her inspiring work in the community; and
 
23     WHEREAS, The passing of Jeann Frank has been deeply felt by
24 many, especially her children and their spouses, Louis F. Frank
25 III and Carol (nee Cole), Lee Ann and Randall F. Olson, Robert
26 E. Frank and Shawn (nee Altmann), and Angela and Clint R.
27 Heatley, and her 10 beloved grandchildren; therefore, be it
 
28     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL
29 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1 Jeann Lee Frank, and we extend our deepest sympathy to her
2 family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
3 further
 
4     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
5 presented to the family of Mrs. Frank as an expression of our
6 sincerest condolences for the loss of a woman who will be
7 remembered for her gracious and generous spirit.
