SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate were saddened
3 to learn of the death of Alfred J. Wulff of Batavia on April
4 30, 2004; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Alfred J. Wulff was born on March 8, 1918 in
6 Chicago; he was a graduate of the University of Illinois; he
7 attained the rank of Major in the United States Air Force; and
 
8     WHEREAS, He was a member of Holy Cross Church; he was the
9 former president of Buttrey-Wulff-Mamminga Insurance Company,
10 former president of the Aurora Sierra Club, and a former
11 president of the Aurora Country Club; he was one of the
12 founding members of the Aurora Jaycees Club and a member of the
13 Kiwanis Club, the Knights of Columbus, the Union League Club,
14 and the Independent Insurance Agents of Aurora; and
 
15     WHEREAS, The passing of Alfred J. Wulff will be deeply felt
16 by many, especially his wife, Nathalie Wulff; his six children,
17 William Wulff, Thomas Wulff, John (Pam) Wulff, Peter (Kristy)
18 Wulff, Mary (James) Duffy, and Timothy (Sue) Wulff; his nine
19 grandchildren, Carolyn (Trevor) Penick, Katherine (Greg)
20 Carroll, and Michael, Elizabeth, Margaret, Julia, Joseph, and
21 Brian Wulff, and Jack Duffy; and his many nieces and nephews;
22 and
 
23     WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred
24 and Anna (Huster) Wulff; a son, Richard J. Wulff; and a
25 brother, Norman Wulff; therefore, be it
 
26     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL
27 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of
28 Alfred J. Wulff along with all who knew and loved him and
29 extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends; and
30 be it further

1     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
2 presented to the family of Alfred J. Wulff with our deepest
3 sympathy.
