SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois were saddened to learn of the death of Elaine F. Hurley of Geneva on January 14, 2004; and

WHEREAS, Elaine Hurley was born on July 22, 1937 in Chicago to Anthony and Frances (Dacca) Slawinski; and

WHEREAS, Mrs. Hurley was a Registered Nurse but her greatest enjoyment was taking care of her family; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Elaine F. Hurley will be deeply felt by many, especially her husband of 39 years, Jeremiah; her son, William; her daughter, Julie (Jack) Yeo; and her brother, Erwin (Carol) Slawinski; and

WHEREAS, Mrs. Hurley was preceded in death by her parents; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Elaine F. Hurley along with all who knew and loved her and extend our sincere condolences to her family and friends; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Elaine F. Hurley as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
