 1                          SENATE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, The members  of  the  Senate  of  the  State  of
 3    Illinois  were saddened to learn of the death of Christine H.
 4    Ryan of Burbank on January 26, 2003; and

 5        WHEREAS, Mrs. Ryan was  born  on  September  4,  1912  in
 6    Chicago; she married Lester Ryan in June of 1931; he preceded
 7    her  in death; four children, Lucille, Jeanette, Richard, and
 8    William, also preceded her in death; and

 9        WHEREAS, Mrs. Ryan was employed as a cafeteria worker  at
10    Reavis  High  School  from  1955 to 1977; she was a member of
11    several South Stickney Senior  Citizens  Clubs  for  over  30
12    years; and

13        WHEREAS, The passing of Mrs. Ryan has been deeply felt by
14    all  who  knew her, especially her children, Robert (Elaine),
15    Martin (Lorraine), and James (Lois);  her  19  grandchildren;
16    her      28      great-grandchildren;     and     her     two
17    great-great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

18        RESOLVED, BY  THE  SENATE  OF  THE  NINETY-THIRD  GENERAL
19    ASSEMBLY  OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing
20    of Christine H. Ryan and offer our sincerest  condolences  to
21    her family and friends; and be it further

22        RESOLVED,  That  a  suitable  copy  of this resolution be
23    presented to the family of Christine H. Ryan with our deepest
24    sympathy.
