 1                          SENATE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, The members  of  the  Senate  of  the  State  of
 3    Illinois  were  saddened  to  learn  of  the death of Venetia
 4    Pappanduros of Skokie on December 19, 2002; and

 5        WHEREAS, Mrs. Pappanduros was born on  August  31,  1926;
 6    she  married John Pappanduros and was his beloved wife for 56
 7    years; and

 8        WHEREAS, Mrs. Pappanduros was a  very  active  member  of
 9    Saints Peter & Paul and Assumption Church choirs; and

10        WHEREAS,  The passing of Mrs. Pappanduros has been deeply
11    felt by many, especially her  husband,  John;  her  children,
12    John  (Sandie),  Janet  Leberman,  Robert  (Marilynn), Pamela
13    Zaverdas, and Richard (Anna) Duros; her 13 grandchildren; her
14    siblings, Particia (George) Gatziolis and John Mantalos;  her
15    brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jim (Marge) Pappanduros and
16    Antigoni  (Nick)  Zaverdas;  and her many nieces and nephews;
17    therefore, be it

18        RESOLVED, BY  THE  SENATE  OF  THE  NINETY-THIRD  GENERAL
19    ASSEMBLY  OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing
20    of Venetia Pappanduros and offer our sincerest condolences to
21    her family and friends; and be it further

22        RESOLVED, That a suitable  copy  of  this  resolution  be
23    presented  to  the  family  of  Venetia  Pappanduros with our
24    deepest sympathy.
