 1                          SENATE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, The members  of  the  Senate  of  the  State  of
 3    Illinois  were  saddened to learn of the death of Donna Diehl
 4    of Aurora; and

 5        WHEREAS, Mrs. Diehl  was  born  on  March  1,  1926,  the
 6    daughter of Ralph and Bernice Hipp of Aurora; and

 7        WHEREAS,  Mrs.  Diehl  graduated from St. Mary's of Notre
 8    Dame in South Bend, Indiana; she  was  a  former  teacher  at
 9    Freeman and Goodwin Schools; and

10        WHEREAS, She was a past member of American Association of
11    University  Women  (A.A.U.W.),  Child Welfare, and the Aurora
12    Junior Women's Club; and

13        WHEREAS, Mrs. Diehl's passing  will  be  deeply  felt  by
14    many,  especially  her  four  daughters, Sara (Robert) White,
15    Susan (Robert) Booth, Stacy (Steven) Shute, and Sandra (Alan)
16    Turnipseed; her eight  grandchildren,  Christopher  (Whitney)
17    White,  Timothy  and  Lisa  White, Melissa and Gregory Booth,
18    Erik Shute, and Nicole and Danielle Turnipseed;  her  sister,
19    Nancy  (Robert)  McAllister;  and  many  relatives  and  good
20    friends; and

21        WHEREAS,  She  was  preceded  in  death  by  her husband,
22    Gilbert; and her parents, Ralph and Bernice Hipp;  therefore,
23    be it

24        RESOLVED,  BY  THE  SENATE  OF  THE  NINETY-THIRD GENERAL
25    ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of
26    Donna Diehl along with all who knew and loved her and  extend
27    our  sincere condolences to her family and friends; and be it
28    further

29        RESOLVED, That a suitable  copy  of  this  resolution  be
30    presented  to  the  family of Donna Diehl as an expression of
