 1                          SENATE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, The members  of  the  Senate  of  the  State  of
 3    Illinois  were  saddened  to  learn  of the death of Ruth Ann
 4    Gibbs (nee Ohanian) of Gurnee on May 1, 2003; and

 5        WHEREAS, Mrs. Gibbs was born  on  November  10,  1945  in
 6    Waukegan and remained a lifelong area resident; and

 7        WHEREAS,  She was an Administrative Assistant to the Lake
 8    County Board Chairman and had been an employee of the  County
 9    of Lake for over 30 years; and

10        WHEREAS,  Mrs.  Gibbs  was  an  active  member  of Christ
11    Episcopal Church where she was a Sunday  School  Teacher  and
12    Choir  Member; she was also a member of the Waukegan Symphony
13    Chorus; and

14        WHEREAS, Mrs. Gibbs passing will be deeply felt by  many,
15    especially  her  husband,  Jerry  Gibbs; her son, Christopher
16    Gibbs; her daughter, Anne Gibbs; her brother,  David  (Nancy)
17    Ohanian; and her nieces, Emilie and Elizabeth Ohanian; and

18        WHEREAS,  She  was  preceded  in  death  by  her parents,
19    Clarence and Alice (nee Chookazian) Ohanian; therefore, be it

20        RESOLVED, BY  THE  SENATE  OF  THE  NINETY-THIRD  GENERAL
21    ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of
22    Ruth  Ann  Gibbs  along  with  all who knew and loved her and
23    extend our sincere condolences to her family and friends; and
24    be it further

25        RESOLVED, That a suitable  copy  of  this  resolution  be
26    presented to the family of Ruth Ann Gibbs as an expression of
27    our deepest sympathy.
