 1        AN ACT concerning vehicles.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The  Illinois  Vehicle  Code  is  amended  by
 5    changing Section 1-101 as follows:

 6        (625 ILCS 5/1-101) (from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 1-101)
 7        Sec.   1-101.   Definition  of  words  and  phrases.  The
 8    following words and phrases when used in this Code shall, for
 9    the purpose of this  Code,  have  the  meanings  respectively
10    ascribed  to  them  in  this Chapter, except when the context
11    otherwise requires and except where  another  definition  set
12    forth  in another Chapter of this Code and applicable to that
13    Chapter or a designated part thereof is applicable.
