 1        AN ACT in relation to vehicles.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.  The  Illinois  Vehicle  Code  is  amended by
 5    adding Section 16-104c as follows:

 6        (625 ILCS 5/16-104c new)
 7        Sec. 16-104c.  Quotas  relating  to  the  enforcement  of
 8    traffic  regulations  prohibited. A State agency or political
 9    subdivision of this State may not require a  law  enforcement
10    officer  to issue a specific number of citations, complaints,
11    or warning notices  during  any  specified  time  period  for
12    violations  of  traffic regulations governing the movement of
13    vehicles.
