 1        AN ACT concerning civil procedure.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.   The  Code  of Civil Procedure is amended by
 5    changing Section 7-103.1 as follows:

 6        (735 ILCS 5/7-103.1)
 7        Sec. 7-103.1.  Quick-take; highway purposes.   Quick-take
 8    proceedings  under  Section 7-103 may be used by the State of
 9    Illinois, the Illinois Toll Highway  Authority,  or  the  St.
10    Louis  Metropolitan Area Airport Authority, or any county for
11    the acquisition of land  or  interests  therein  for  highway
12    purposes.

14        Section  99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect upon
15    becoming law.
