 1        AN ACT in relation to wildlife.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.  The Wildlife Code  is  amended  by  changing
 5    Section 2.24 as follows:


 6        (520 ILCS 5/2.24) (from Ch. 61, par. 2.24)
 7        Sec. 2.24.  Deer. It shall be unlawful to take or possess
 8    deer  in this State, except in compliance with the provisions
 9    of Sections 2.25, 2.26, and 3.23 and the administrative rules
10    issued  under  the  provisions  of  those  Sections.   It  is
11    unlawful for any  person  to  knowingly  take  any  all-white
12    whitetail  deer (Odocoileus virginianus) in this State at any
13    time.
